Today is an interesting day. First and foremost, I never start off watching music videos. Yet I did. I also cannot remember the last time I watched a music video from U2 and I have watched two!
So, without further ado I present to you – Street Of Dreams:
What to say about this? I love the simple concept and presentation of the video. Band plays on top of a bus after touring around on the bus. The ending is awesome, a storm interrupts the concert, the video switches to black and white shot in the vérité style and you get a glimpse of the band figuring out how to continue the concert. I love this.
If the video is not enough the band also released a behind the scenes (making of) video for Street of Dreams:
The second video (also from U2) is more of a standard music video but I also dig it – Silencio:
Both of these have a great look and feel and, most importantly, are good songs. This is such a tremendous way to start the day that I thought I’d share in the hopes it lifts your spirits as well. Enjoy!
